STAY OUT
MEN ... This guide For Women
Only |
 |
Women are different from men. Thank goodness!
And women real estate buyers and sellers are, as a whole, very different
from men.
You, as a woman, should capitalize on your unique differences when you
are purchasing or selling real estate.
Here are some suggestions I believe you will find helpful in your next
real estate transaction...
1. Woman are more detail-minded than men. Ask questions, Lots
of them. Insist on detailed answers. Not a grunt or a brush
off.
2. Women like to take their time when making a purchase rather than
"just get it over with." (Does this sound familiar?) Don't
let your husband, significant other, or salesperson push you into making
a fast decision. Take your time.
3. Women have greater sensory discrimination than men. Women are extremely
observant. Now is the time to utilize this wonderful attribute. Observe
and inspect everything.
4. Women have an undervalued intuition and rely on their instinct, their
hunches, their "sixth sense." If you don't "feel right"
about a home, a listing, an offer, or a real estate agent, trust
your instincts.
5. Women are not always given the respect they deserve. Respectfully
insist you be heard and your feelings and decisions
given consideration.
6. Women like to establish relationships. If you feel you are unable
to establish a comfortable, relaxed, trusting relationship with a real
estate salesperson, find another one.
7. An old proverb states, "Men make houses, women make
a home." Another adage states, "A woman's
home is her castle." Make sure you utilize all your
God-given attributes when you buy or sell your next "castle"
| P.S. |
Yes, I realize I'm not a woman, but I highly appreciate and respect
the unique differences between men and women. If you have any suggestion
from your knowledge of experiences of buying or selling real estate
that would be useful to other women (and me), e-mail me...
